Phoenix Freight Managment is pleased to announce that we are looking to recruit for our next supervisor superstar role for our Qld based Heathwood facility.

Phoenix Freight Managment is a successful Australia wide logistics services provider that is committed to delivering exceptional transport and 3PL warehouse services and solutions to our valued customers.

At Phoenix Freight Managment we utilize a small team of pickers and supervisors of varying age groups and backgrounds to prepare various orders for quality well known reputable customers.

The work will usually require a commitment of somewhere between 38 and 45 hours per week between the time of 0600 and 1500 Mon - Fri. Sometimes more… sometimes less….

This is a full-time salaried position.

This is a hands-on role and given the nature of the product, some heavy lifting is involved.

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 years' experience in a warehousing / logistics and willing to take the next step or at least 1 years experience in a role of responsibility ie: supervisory / team leader role.

A punctual well presented leader.

Strong operational, organisational and problem-solving skills to efficiently manage warehouse workflows

Ability to work independently and a part of a team.

Commitment to upholding strict health, safety and quality standards in the workplace

A forklift license is a prerequisite or the ability to quickly obtain one.

HR truck license highly regarded

An individual with good computer aptitude and the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.

What you'll be doing

Oversee and partake in the receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders

Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock control measures to minimise waste and optimise warehouse space

Identify and resolve any operational issues or bottlenecks to maintain the flow of goods through the warehouse

Provide hands-on support and training to warehouse associates to develop their skills and capabilities

Implement and maintain strict health, safety and quality standards within the warehouse environment

Collaborate with other departments to share information and improve overall warehouse performance

Prepare detailed reports on warehouse and logistics activities, productivity metrics and inventory data

Assist the fleet controller with receiving, distributing and day to day operations.
