About The Opportunity
As a full-time Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining detailed records of all work performed and parts utilised
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
- Conducting comprehensive inspections to identify necessary repairs or replacements
- Contributing to a safe and efficient workshop environment by adhering to health and safety protocols
- Ensuring all work is completed in alignment with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on various light vehicles, including cars, vans, and light trucks
About You
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
- A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate a range of light vehicles
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with customers and colleagues
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to think critically and find effective solutions
- At least 3 years of experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic with a solid understanding of modern vehicle systems and technologies
