We are seeking a reliable, highly motivated, and experienced warehouse / store person who will be committed to this role for the long term. This role will suit someone who is a born problem solver, is detail-oriented and can work autonomously and as part of a team. It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the warehouse to keep up with demand. Everyone within the warehouse works as a team and most people are multi-skilled. This position will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to go from a casual employee to full-time and progress within the warehouse & further their skills.

About the Role

This position will include a casual period, progressing to part time/full time position depending on employee performance.

The role will involve but is not limited to:

Picking and packing customer orders

Reviewing and checking all orders for quality and accuracy before dispatch

Ensuring stock is efficiently handled and stored.

Unloading containers with products

Loading freight company/customer trucks with customer orders

Treat all stock with utmost care to reduce potential damage.

Assisting in periodic stock takes

Participating in regular morning huddles discussing warehouse tasks for completion raising any staff, product, process and/or safety issues

Providing exceptional customer service to our client base

Work towards the company’s goal for the team and individuals.

About the Candidate:

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

MUST be reliable.

Demonstrated warehouse experience is an advantage.

Current forklift license and driver’s license

Ability to follow clear verbal instructions.

Ability to multitask.

High level of attention to detail

Excellent people and communication skill
