AAV4x4 is a fast-growing, proudly Australian business specialising in building serious off-road trucks that are ready to tour the world. Based in Brendale, we build and fit out capable vehicles using quality gear and practical know-how.

We’re currently looking for a full-time Workshop Fitter to join our team – and we’ve found over time that older workers with real-world trade experience (builders, mechanics, ex-sparkies etc.) often thrive in this role. If you’re someone who takes pride in your work and wants to be part of a tight, honest crew – we want to hear from you.

About the Role
This role involves fitting a wide range of accessories to new 4x4 vehicles – including bullbars, towbars, trays, subframes, roof racks, steps, fuel tanks, water tanks, and more. Minimal wiring is involved (we have auto electricians for that).

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm

Friday knock-off at 4pm

No weekend work – ever

We’re mainly after a full-timer, but the right person might move to a 4-day week after proving themselves.

What We’re Looking For

Hands-on experience – you might be a retired tradesman, ex-mechanic or just a capable all-rounder

Reliable, punctual, and proud of doing a good job

Someone who’s committed, takes ownership, and wants to do quality work

Comfortable working in a workshop environment – physically fit, tidy, and safe

Self-starter – can follow instructions and get stuck in without being micromanaged

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

Previous experience in accessory fitting or automotive work

Forklift ticket or basic fabrication skills
