About the role

Brisbane Dental Anaesthetics Centre, under new management, is seeking experienced Anaesthetic Nurses, Anaesthetic Techs and PACU, Recovery Nurses to join our team at our Chermside, Queensland facility. There are various roles available including full-time, part time and casual.

What you'll be doing

Providing pre-operative care and preparing patients for surgery

Administering anaesthesia and monitoring patients throughout surgical procedures

Caring for patients in the Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and facilitating a safe recovery

Collaborating with surgeons, anaesthetists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintaining detailed patient records and documenting all nursing interventions

Adhering to all relevant healthcare standards, policies and procedures

Participating in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Registered Nurses with a current AHPRA registration

Minimum of 2 years' experience working as an Anaesthetic Nurse, Tech and PACU, Recovery Nurse

Comprehensive understanding of anaesthetic procedures, patient monitoring and post-operative care

Excellent clinical assessment and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team

Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care

Adaptability and the ability to work calmly under pressure
