Robina Private Hospital is a 90 bed private hospital located opposite Robina public hospital. We provide inpatient rehabilitation and day therapy programs to a variety of presentations including neurological conditions, pain, deconditioning, falls, Parkinson’s disease, and pre- and post-surgery rehabilitation.

We have a casual occupational therapist position available to support our Day Therapy Rehab program (Tues/Weds/Thursdays) with the potential to also support the ward OT on Mon/Fridays as needed ( in times of high ward occupancy).

We are also requiring a second OT, Mon-Fri, to cover for the inpatient rehab ward from August- mid September, 30+ hrs/week (due to staff leave).

Mandatory qualifications and experience:

Degree in Occupational Therapy

Current Registration with AHPRA

Current (less than 3 months) National Criminal History check (or agreement to obtain prior to commencing employment)

Experience working with inpatient and outpatients in a rehabilitation unit including home visit assessments and modifications, equipment prescription, ADL assessments

Experience working in a multidisciplinary team

Experience working with a broad case mix including stroke, general deconditioning, joint replacements, chronic pain, neurological conditions such as Parkinson's Disease, and aged care

Demonstrated ability to manage a clinical caseload and provide both individualized and group therapy

Desirable but not essential:
