This often fast-paced and high-risk work setting demands a high focus on safety, while maintaining high standards of workmanship and productivity on site.

At Eastco, we take pride in nurturing the next generation of tradespeople, actively mentoring and training our young apprentices on-site. You’ll assist in fostering their skills development and ensuring their seamless integration into our dynamic team.

Working away and some Saturday’s is required as part of our rotating project schedule. For away work assignments, we cover travel, accommodation and meal expenses and provide bonuses.

This is not stop/start residential – you’ll be part of a crew installing the framework for building major assets across QLD and beyond.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a carpenter or quality shed builder, preferably within the modular building sector, but not essential.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering plans and technical drawings.

Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.

Solid understanding of safety protocols, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.

Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a diverse team.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain respect and professionalism in all interactions.

Dependable and trustworthy work ethic.

Driver's License: Candidates must hold a valid a driver's license. (Manual and MR Desirable)

Construction White Card: Candidates must possess a valid construction white card.

Working at Heights Certification: Desirable.

Elevating Work Platform (EWP): Desirable.

Forklift: Desirable.
