About the team
Located in our Infrastructure Network Operations department, the Network Monitoring team are responsible for the monitoring, operation and management of the active assets associated within the water, sewer, and recycled water networks.
About your new role
The Supervisor Network Monitoring will respond to the needs of internal and external customers by supporting the Operations Control Centre, dispatch and its staff to ensure the effective delivery of processing data, applications and service requests, assisting with technology, mentoring and training, and resource planning.
We're looking for people who have:
Demonstrated experience in water, sewer and/or recycled water networks and understanding of SCADA monitoring systems.
Demonstrated experience of analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research issues, interpret and analyse information, determine an appropriate course of action, and provide sound advice, options, or recommendation(s).
Demonstrated experience in leadership particularly of technical operational teams.
Ability to work within an environment with demonstratable experience in managing multiple tasks, that may have impact beyond the work area, with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise work and resources to reach agreed and successful outcomes.
Self-motivated individual with the ability to interact with team members to build effective internal relationships, with experience interacting with the public/external stakeholders.
Deliver a high quality of service to internal and external customers and reacts responsively to customer expectations.
