St Luke’s Long Day Care & Kindergarten is seeking an Assistant Director to support the leadership of our 75-place service in the heart of Capalaba - deeply connected to both our school and the local community.

Working closely with the Centre Director, you’ll help guide a passionate team, ensure smooth daily operations, and nurture a welcoming environment where children aged 6 weeks to 5 years can learn, grow and thrive.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Director in the day-to-day running of the centre
• Foster high-quality, inclusive education and care practices
• Lead by example and mentor educators in their professional growth
• Build meaningful relationships with families and the local community
• Step into leadership when the Centre Director is away

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in an early education leadership or senior educator role
• Diploma of Children’s Services (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Current Blue Card and First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
• Knowledge of NQF, NQS, EYLF and QKLG
• Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills (Xplor experience welcomed)
