Royal Life Saving NSW|ACT|TAS is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Swim Teachers to deliver high-quality, engaging swimming and water safety lessons as part of our Project ACTivate initiative. This exciting opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about aquatic education and shaping young swimmers' confidence and safety in the water.

About the Role:

As a Swim Teacher for Project ACTivate (ACT Year 2 Swimming Program), you will play a vital role in delivering fun, professional and safe swim lessons that promote water safety and skill development for school-aged children. You'll work closely with the Project ACTivate team to ensure every session is rewarding, inclusive, and positively impacts each child's aquatic journey.

What You'll Do:

Deliver effective, safe, and engaging swimming lessons tailored to varied skill levels

Build rapport and communicate clearly with students and guardians

Prepare thoroughly, complete risk assessments, and contribute to a positive team environment

Maintain supervision standards and follow all emergency procedures

Support the continued development and improvement of the program

What You'll Need:

Current Swim Teacher qualification (Royal Life Saving or equivalent)

CPR Certificate

ACT Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP)

Excellent communication skills and a supportive teaching approach

Passion for water safety and helping others build confidence in aquatic environments
