We’re working closely with a highly respected Tier 2 builder delivering a complex commercial project in Melbourne and seeking a capable Document Controller to support the project team.

This role would suit someone with 2+ years of experience in a similar position, who is confident working across Aconex and/or Procore, and enjoys setting up efficient document control systems from the ground up.
About the Role: You will be a key part of the project team, responsible for end-to-end document control across client communications, subcontractor submittals, RFIs, and QA/ITP processes.

Key duties include:

• Setting up and refining transmittal workflows for clients and subcontractors.
• Creating and managing master registers and dashboards.
• Tracking Client Change Requests and ensuring correct documentation is in place.
• Supporting weekly project reporting with updates to management.
• Managing drawing and document naming conventions, revisions, and distribution.
• Assisting with Aconex Field setup, permissions, and directory management.
• Coordinating with project leads and 2ICs across disciplines to ensure continuity.

Ideal Candidate:

• At least 2 years of experience in document control within commercial construction.
• Strong working knowledge of Aconex and/or Procore.
• Able to take ownership of processes and deliver consistent reporting.
• Proactive communicator with strong organisational skills.
• Comfortable working in a project-based site environment.
