Dreamworld is home to one of Southeast Queensland’s leading native wildlife parks, housing hundreds of iconic Australian animals — including the area’s second-largest koala population. If you’re passionate about animals and thrive on adventure, Dreamworld delivers the perfect blend of both! We’re looking for a committed Wildlife Attendant to join our enthusiastic team in caring for our unique collection of native Australian wildlife.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Prepare food for a variety of native Australian animals daily
• Clean enclosures and maintain high hygiene standards
• Perform general animal husbandry tasks
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date animal care records
What We’re Looking For:
• Applicants should have prior hands-on experience working with Australian wildlife, demonstrating confidence in animal husbandry and handling
• A solid general knowledge of native Australian fauna is also essential to effectively support the care and wellbeing of the animals in our collection
• Well developed communication, teamwork and customer service skills
• Possess a high level of physical fitness to perform physically demanding work
• Current manual driver’s licence
• Flexibility to work weekends on a 7-day roster
• Q-Fever vaccination
• Animal husbandry qualifications and/or progressive study towards a Certificate in Wildlife and Exhibited Animals would be well regarded
