About the role

As a Personal Carer at Doing It Together, you will provide professional and compassionate care to our elderly and disabled clients in their own homes and community in the Stanthorpe and Warwick area. This is a casual role, offering you flexibility to balance your work and personal life. You will be an integral part of our dedicated team, helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Providing companionship and engaging clients in social activities to enhance their wellbeing
• Performing housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organised living environment
• Monitoring clients' health and alerting the appropriate personnel to any changes or concerns
• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the wellbeing of our clients
• Documenting client interactions and progress as required

What we're looking for

• Prior experience in a personal care or aged/disability support role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of the elderly and disabled
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Completed or undertaking relevant qualifications and certifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support
