They're looking for a skilled Senior Environmental Engineer to lead innovative projects and ensure outstanding project delivery that exceeds client expectations.

About the Role

• Permanent, Fulltime
• Orange, NSW
• $150,000 base + Super
• This role requires fulltime on site presence with the occasional flexibility

As a Senior Environmental Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering high-quality environmental engineering projects on time and within budget. You’ll provide technical leadership, mentor colleagues and build strong client relationships while driving sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and certify environmental engineering designs and project deliverables
• Manage project resources, schedules and budgets effectively
• Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing across the environmental and engineering teams
• Liaise regularly with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and project transparency
• Conduct field inspections, site assessments and impact reporting for waste, water reuse and sustainability projects
• Apply industry guidelines and utilise tools such as GIS, MUSIC and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software
• Stay updated with the latest developments in environmental engineering and sustainability
• Prepare detailed reports, proposals and certification documentation

What You Bring

• 8+ years’ experience in environmental engineering and project management
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Proficiency with GIS and environmental modeling software
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver innovative solutions
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, regulators and multidisciplinary teams
• Solid knowledge of NSW environmental legislation, licensing and impact assessment processes
• Leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing team members
• High attention to detail and organisational skills to meet deadlines consistently
