Due to internal promotions within the business, an amazing Assistant Accountant role has become available. Reporting to the CFO and Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting
• Daily cash management and bank reconciliations.
• Monthly general ledger reconciliations and variance investigations.
• Processing of invoices and generation of payments.
• Assistance with annual audit preparation and liaison with external auditors.
• Support in developing annual budgets and strategic forecasts.
• Preparation of ad hoc financial reports and profit & loss forecasts.
• Building positive relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Participation in finance process improvements

To be successful, you will have completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field, and be currently working either within a chartered accounting firm or as an Assistant Accountant in a commercial company. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and eager to learn and grow within a commercial setting. This role is ideal for someone seeking career development, who can communicate effectively with stakeholders and has experience covering a broad scope of financial duties.
