About the opportunity
At Primary Health Tasmania, our purpose is to create sustainable health and wellbeing solutions with, and for, the Tasmanian community - making sure Tasmanians get the right health care, in the right place and at the right time. Our Program Management team provides a structured and consistent approach in overseeing and managing a range of health programs addressing local needs and improving service delivery.
Due to the expansion of health initiatives, we are seeking an experienced and adaptable Health Project Lead to join a supportive and values-driven team who are passionate about improving health outcomes for those who need it most.

What you would be doing
Under the direction of the Health Program Manager, you will lead and oversee multiple simultaneous projects in a fast paced, rapidly evolving industry.
Your focus will be:
Project Leadership: Lead and deliver multiple health projects using proven project management expertise
Planning and Budgeting: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure alignment with strategic goals
Execution and Coordination: Coordinate resources, tasks and deliverables to drive efficient project execution
Risk and Stakeholder Management: Identify and mitigate risks while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders on project status and challenges.
Here's what you’ll look like
You may have project management experience in healthcare or are ready to use your core PM skills of communication, collaboration, negotiation and influence in a brand-new sector.
Your talents will include:
Project Management: Proven PM skills with demonstrated successful results
Planning and Financial Acumen: Experienced in developing project documentation and performance reports, solid financial literacy with the ability to manage budgets and resources
Stakeholder Engagement: Effective communicator across diverse audiences, able to build strong, productive relationships with stakeholders. Adept at navigating complex environments with diplomacy and influence.
Happy to travel if required – more than likely intrastate across our sites
