Remuneration: $39.01 β $57.10 per hour
Hours Per Week: 24 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
As part of our Court Diversion Programs (Adult Drug Court and Magistrates Early Referral into Treatment), you will provide essential support to individuals experiencing substance use challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based counselling to clients involved in court diversion programs
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans
- Preparing professional court reports to support client legal proceedings
- Providing ongoing case management to support client progress and recovery
- Collaborating with legal, medical, and support service teams to ensure holistic care
- This role may involve working across two sites; Cumberland and Mount Druitt Hospital (Centre for Addiction Medicine)

Essential Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Psychology or related field.
- Registration: Psychologist Registration with APHRA.
Selection Criteria
- Experience working in a counselling role with complex populations.
- Experience administering comprehensive assessments and designing targeted treatment plans for substance use issues and/or co-morbid mental health problems.
- Demonstrated skills in providing evidence based treatment for substance use issues and/or comorbid mental health problems.
- Ability to work in court based programs with clients who have engaged in offending behaviour.
- Proven high quality written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience or exposure to crisis and risk situations and challenging client behaviours.
- An understanding of the array of psychosocial issues that contribute to substance use problems and capacity to take a holistic approach to treatment.
- Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia and willingness to travel to and work from other sites across Western Sydney Local Health District.
