Based in Laverton North, Geelong Logistics is seeking a Crane Truck Delivery Driver to join our staff on a full-time basis, 5 days per week starting at 6am.

Duties & responsibilities:

Drive a 2021 automatic Isuzu MR truck with a front mounted Hiab crane

Truck is permanently based at the client's Laverton Nth facility

Unload deliveries by both crane and by hand

Check the pre-loaded goods for accuracy against delivery paperwork

Restrain the load and depart the facility, following a delivery run sheet

Complete paperwork and process proof of deliveries in your supplied Samsung phone

Liaise with customers and the depot to seek direction on any issues during the run

Keep the interior and exterior of the truck clean

38 hour week (M-F) and overtime is required for the role

Experience & requirements

Not essential but a Crane CV license or crane experience is advantageous

Not essential but a Dogging/Rigging license is also advantageous

Aptitude for operating high risk machinery

Prior experience as a multi-drop delivery driver

Good verbal communication skills

Punctuality and reliability

Agility and the physical fitness & strength to safely unload various products

Load restraint skills

Understanding and complying with Chain of Responsibility requirements with speeding, mass and load limits, and fatigue management
