Barista Position at Mr Burton – Join Our Incredible Team

We're on the hunt for a skilled and passionate Barista to join the Mr Burton family – a bustling European café and Italian eatery in the heart of Ashburton. If you love crafting exceptional coffee, can handle a busy service with ease, and enjoy being part of a tight-knit team, this could be the perfect role for you.

What We’re Looking For:

3–4 years' barista experience with a strong command of coffee-making fundamentals

Confident in managing 5–7kg of coffee per day in a high-volume environment

Creative flair for developing new hot and cold beverage specials

Comfortable working the floor and wait tables when required

Familiarity with Square POS system

Experience with commercial espresso machines and grinders (La Marzocco preferred)

Must have valid work rights in Australia

Available 4 days a week – 2 weekdays + 2 weekends (weekend availability is essential)

Punctual, proactive, and a true team player

What We Offer:

25–30 hours per week, with minimum 8-hour morning shifts

Award-compliant pay as per the Hospitality Industry (General) Award [Fair Work]
