About the Role

We are seeking for a passionate and motivated team player to join our warehousing team as a Warehouse Team Leader/Supervisor based in our Banyo Head Office located in Queensland. This role presents a strong platform for a talented supply/warehouse professional seeking to enhance and build a successful career in the plumbing industry.

Responsibilities:

* Provide inspired leadership for your team
* Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance & high morale
* Provide direction, supervision & leadership to Warehouse Assistants
* Picking & Packing of all company products for delivery including correct packaging & labelling
* Receipting inbound goods - unloading trucks & containers, checking goods & stock allocation
* Data Entry through our operating system (Unleashed)
* Preparation & receipting of relevant documentation
* Stock Control - Stock Counts & Inventory Monitoring
* Adhering to all WMS procedures
* Managing incoming/outgoing calls & communication with customers & colleagues
* Adhering to, and meeting strict safety standards as per Occupational Health & Safety guidelines
* Forklift Operations where required
* Work both independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues
* Maintain the Warehouse & Office space in all manner of organization, tidiness & cleanliness
* Support worker communication with the management team
* Work with senior stakeholders where required
* Lead daily Pre-Start meetings and document
* Performing new team member training and inductions
* Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
* Inventory control, picking, packing and communications for Hailiang Copper Australia
* Planning, coordinating and monitoring logistics operations with relation to freight companies
* General quality control around all aspects of the warehousing facility and relative systems and
processes in place

Ideally, we are seeking someone with exceptional a 'can-do' attitude, to work within a challenging yet rewarding industry.

To be successful in this role we require:

* Minimum 5 years of recent experience in a similar role
* Strong background in warehousing roles
* Current Forklift Licence
* Current Australian Drivers Licence
* Efficient in the use of computers and technology such as emails, inventory/operations software
management system, OneDrive 365, CRM system
* High levels of attention to detail are required in the following areas:

* Physically & mentally healthy & able
* Friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and motivated
* First Aid & CPR Qualifications would be favourable
