Our team of experienced telecommunication technicians provide customers with specialist industry advice and end-to-end turnkey solutions for the construction of telecommunication and security infrastructure, backed up with lifelong maintenance support.

About the role

iConnected is seeking experienced All Round Field Technicians to join our team of NBN experts.

Reporting to a Field Supervisor, responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Perform field surveys and provide required information back to the field supervisor

Complete a variety of work which could include HFC and FTTX

Complete make safe activity that will require general all round experience as a technician

Attend customer complaints and complete the work required to the clients expectations

Rod & Rope NBN / Telstra Ducts

Reading and understanding cable plans and designs

Work in regional areas by completing milk runs when required

Required Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have experience and the relevant technical knowledge. The following licences and certifications are required:

Enable ID

ACMA Registered Cabling Licence (Open)

Criminal history check (we can arrange through our outsourcing partner)

Current Driver's Licence

OHS White Card

Working at Heights Certification (RIIWHS204D)

Power Awareness certification & licence

First Aid Training with CPR

Appropriate Power Authority accreditation

Experience on both HFC and FTTX technologies
