About the role

Drainage Solutions Australia is seeking an experienced Sewer Drain Cleaner to join our team in Hallam, VIC. This full-time position is essential in maintaining the efficient operation of sewer and drainage systems across the local area. Working as part of a dedicated crew, you will use specialised equipment and techniques to clear blockages, remove debris, and ensure the ongoing functionality of the drainage infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

Operate high-pressure water jet and suction equipment to clean and clear sewer and stormwater drains

Identify and diagnose drainage issues, reporting any major problems to the team

Maintain detailed records of work undertaken and materials used

Ensure work is carried out safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations

Assist with general plumbing and drainage maintenance tasks as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in sewer and stormwater drain cleaning, ideally within the construction or plumbing industry

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate specialist drainage equipment

Solid understanding of plumbing and drainage systems, including common issues and remediation techniques

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability as a team to tackle challenging blockages

Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship

Current MR / HR driver's license and ability to navigate to job sites across the local south east Melbourne area
