ABOUT THE ROLE
The Wholesale Fruit Company is seeking a full-time Warehouse Assistant / Delivery Driver to join our team based in the Brisbane Markets at Rocklea. In this varied role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe handling of our fresh produce inventory and assisting our warehouse manager with quality control, as well as making deliveries to our customers throughout the local area.

HOURS WORKED:

Monday - 12am to 9am

Tuesday - 2am to 8.30am

Wednesday - 2am to 8.30am

Thursday - 1.30am to 9am

Friday - 1.30am to 9am

Every second Saturday - 3am to 9am

37 hours one week

43 hours every second Saturday

Averaging 40 hours per week

Finish times may vary, finish when the work is completed.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Receiving and storing fresh produce using appropriate equipment and safety procedures

Picking, packing and loading customer orders for delivery

Delivering fresh produce orders to customers in a timely and professional manner

Complete paperwork and customer drop-offs accurately and professionally

Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment

Assisting with general warehouse operations as required

Keep vehicle clean & well presented

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, ideally within the fresh produce or food industry

A valid MR driver's licence and forklift licence

Reliable, calm under pressure, and great with time management

Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing excellent delivery service

Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy items

A reliable worker with a positive can-do attitude

Strong attention to detail and a focus on safe work practices

A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively
