Regional Corporate Services is offering the opportunity for an Accountant to join our existing finance team to work with a group of privately owned companies in a diverse range of industries. As part of a friendly team, this role is a full function finance role with room for growth, offering variety and scope of tasks including:

Full function of Accounts Receivables, including Customer Credit Analysis

Full function of Accounts Payable

Duties as required leading to end of month processing

Assisting in internal reporting, formulating budgets and accounting policies

Preparing various statutory obligations such as BAS / IAS.

Preparing monthly financials for various entities within the Group

Liaise with external tax advisors, providing assurance about the accuracy of the information in the financial reports

Other general accounting & administrative functions as required

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

A relevant Bachelor’s degree

3+ years experience in general accounting and administrative duties

Professional presentation and interpersonal skills

Ideally looking to gain CA / CPA status

Excellent telephone / communication skills

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Good sense of initiative and attention to detail, a can-do attitude

Ability to work with limited supervision

Willingness to help out wherever possible
