As a vital member of our production team, you will be responsible for crafting and assembling high-quality components for our innovative range of boating products. Your expertise in light metal fabrication will directly contribute to the exceptional standards that Davco is known for.

Responsibilities:

Precision Fabrication: Fabricate and assemble light metal components (aluminum and stainless steel) according to detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Machinery Operation: Proficiently operate a variety of metalworking machinery, including cutting, bending, welding (MIG/TIG preferred), and finishing equipment.

Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on finished products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and specifications.

Drawings: Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and work orders.

Maintenance & Organisation: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to achieve production goals, problem-solve, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or equivalent demonstrated experience.

Proven expertise in light stainless steel and aluminum fabrication techniques and processes.

Strong proficiency in operating various metalworking machinery and tools.

Exceptional ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
