Central Coast Sports College is a progressive independent school situated on the NSW Central Coast that specialises in providing innovative educational programs to student athletes from Kindergarten to Year 12.

We are currently seeking an exceptional individual who is able to provide first aid support to the College Nurse within the Wellbeing Team on an as needs casual basis. This position requires a mature person flexible in approach who is able to work with, identify and support the individual needs of a range of students.

Note: This is a casual position during school term time only.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide basic first aid and medical assistance to student athletes (and staff) in collaboration with the College Nurse.

triaging student athletes based on their physical or emotional needs

maintaining records of student athlete medical information, treatments, and incidents

monitoring and restocking first aid supplies

managing the signing in and out of first aid kits, EpiPens and other medical supplies

Qualifications and experience

Current First Aid/CPR certification

Level 1 and Level 2 training through Diabetes in Schools Training

Knowledge of and experience working in a school environment including experience working with students with diverse health, social and emotional needs - eg Diabetes,Anaphylaxis, Asthma, Epilepsy, ASD,ADHD (highly regarded)

NSW Working With Children Check clearance

National Police check clearance
