About the Role

We are seeking a physically fit, reliable, and self-motivated Gardener to help maintain and enhance the airport’s landside precinct. This role is ideal for someone passionate about gardening and landscaping, with a keen eye for presentation and upkeep.

You will be provided with uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Key responsibilities include:

Mowing (Zero-turn ride on), whipper snipping, and general garden maintenance

Hedging and trimming of plants and trees

Green waste collection and removal

Weed, pest, and disease control and identification

Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment

Performing other duties as needed to meet company objectives

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a similar gardening or landscaping role

Valid driver’s license (Class C preferred but not essential)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Competent in using equipment such as zero-turn ride-on mowers, whipper snippers, chainsaws, hedgers, and power tools

Strong work ethic, reliability, and flexibility

Physical Requirements

This role requires physical activities such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Successful applicants must undergo a pre-employment medical examination and drug & alcohol screening in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulations.
