Our client is a leading Australian-owned facilities management services firm ensuring operational excellence and exceeding their clients’ expectations.
Built over 60 years, our client has constantly delivered outstanding services to global, local, and government customers across core services of integrated facilities management.
Due to exponential growth, we are seeking to appoint an experienced IFM services estimator to work closely with the business development and bid team.
The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for:
Lead end-to-end tendering, from client engagement through to costing, development of bid strategies, and identification of key client hot points
Establish bid pricing, estimating, and lifecycle cost-plan templates, processes, procedures, systems capability
Develop the handover strategy to operations upon successful tenders
Develop strong industry networks across the facilities management space, including commercial property managers, in support of Business Development activities
Proactively manage and report on the tender opportunities that are in the pipeline
Conduct cost reviews on live tenders as part of the feedback loop for future tenders
Develop and maintain cost overhead recovery models as tender inputs
Provide mentoring in estimating and cost planning knowledge to key staff
Maintain and develop subcontractor relationships to maximise cost inputs on tenders.
As an experienced estimator, you will bring the following attributes:
Must have experience in health, education, and social infrastructure.
More than 10 years estimating and commercial management experience in Integrated Facilities Management
In-depth knowledge and experience in estimating and costing of FM services
Hands-on project management experience will be well regarded
Finance, or with trade qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong financial acumen
