About the role

Welland Plaza Meats' is seeking a passionate and skilled Qualified Butcher, Butcher Assistant or Butcher Apprentice to join our team in Welland SA 5007. This full-time role will involve a variety of butchery responsibilities to support our busy local store and serve our loyal customer base.

What you'll be doing

Preparing, cutting, trimming and packaging a variety of meats to customer specifications

Assisting with inventory management and maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked butchery

Providing excellent customer service and product knowledge to customers

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards

Supporting the team with other store duties as required

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualification or experience as a qualified butcher

Strong butchery skills, including meat preparation, cutting and packaging

Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing high-quality products

Good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

A team-player attitude and willingness to assist with a variety of store duties

Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
