We have a very friendly experienced team looking for a positive, and experienced Butcher who can assist our departments expand and grow.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to perform consistent quality work to a high standard while unsupervised.

Major duties and responsibilities will include;

Deliver high retail standards within the Meat department

Cutting, preparing and packaging a variety of meats to customer specifications

Monitoring stock levels and placing orders to ensure a consistent supply of quality meats

Assist with the waste control practices within the store

Maintain Food Safety & Occupational Health and Safety Standards

Provide excellent customer service, with high level communication and interpersonal skills

What we're looking for

A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Butcher, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment

Thorough knowledge of various meat cuts, preparation techniques and food safety regulations

Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide expert advice to customers

Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other staff members

Suitable candidates must be motivated and enthusiastic. This is an employment opportunity and potentially a fulltime role.

Applicants will be required to work a variety of shifts over a 7 day period.
