Lil digger excavations' is seeking a skilled 2t Posi Combo Operator to join our construction team in Helensvale, QLD. This is a contract or wages role offering the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain valuable experience in the industry.

What you'll be doing

Operate a 2t excavator and t110 positrack to complete site preparation, plumbing, and earthmoving tasks

Late model machines and well maintained to the highest standards

Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety’s

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself, your team, and the surrounding environment

Collaborate with the broader construction team to ensure efficient and effective project delivery

Maintain accurate records and logs of equipment usage and maintenance activities

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Combo Operator in the construction industry

Relevant licences and certifications, such as a high-risk work licence, MR manual truck licence and construction industry white card

Excellent mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain construction equipment, (contract fitter used)

Strong safety-focused mindset and a commitment to upholding workplace health and safety standards

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks as required
