We are looking for an Android Developer, you'll be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performance-oriented mobile solutions.

Role responsibilities

Mobile App Development: Design and develop Android applications, from concept to launch, ensuring a responsive, intuitive, and engaging user experience.

Coding and Testing: Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and industry standards. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure application stability and performance.

Feature Implementation: Implement new features, functionalities, and enhancements in collaboration with product managers, designers, and other team members.

Optimization and Performance: Optimize application performance, improving speed, responsiveness, and efficiency. Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs to enhance overall user experience.

Platform Adaptation: Stay updated on the latest Android platform trends, technologies, and best practices to incorporate into development processes.

Documentation and Maintenance: Document code, technical specifications, and project updates. Provide maintenance and support for existing applications, including troubleshooting and bug fixing.

Assist with the rebuild of the application to a modernized tech stack

Engage in projects to develop new features & functionality for the application

Role requirements

3 + years experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of Android applications developed and deployed on the Play Store.

Strong skills in Kotlin programming languages and familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio (Device Manager), and related development tools.

Experience or exposure in: Android Launch mode, Device Manager or real time video applications is Highly Desirable but not essential

Understanding of mobile app architecture, UI/UX principles, Jetpack Compose and design patterns (MVP, MVVM).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
