About the role

Gawain Road Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Bracken Ridge, Queensland. This is a full-time position, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their medication needs and queries

Accurately processing and dispensing prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist

Maintaining the pharmacy's inventory, including ordering, receiving, and restocking of pharmaceutical products

Performing administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping

Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and pharmacy policies

Supporting the pharmacist in various other duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a customer service role within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work

Proficient in using computer systems and technology

A genuine interest in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry

A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively with the pharmacy team
