About the role

High Kraft kitchens & Joinery is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker/Joiner to join our team in Unanderra, NSW. As a Cabinet Maker/Joiner, you will be responsible for the design, construction, and installation of high-quality custom cabinetry and furniture for residential and commercial projects.

What you'll be doing

Interpreting design briefs and client requirements to create detailed plans and specifications for cabinetry and joinery

Selecting and preparing appropriate materials, tools, and equipment for project completion

Skillfully operating woodworking machinery and hand tools to fabricate cabinetry and furniture components

Assembling, finishing, and installing custom cabinetry and joinery products at client sites

Collaborating with the design team to ensure projects meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker or Joiner, preferably in a custom cabinetry or furniture-making environment

Strong technical skills in woodworking, including the use of power tools, hand tools, and CNC machinery

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and design specifications

Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

A trade certificate or relevant qualification in Cabinet Making or Joinery
