Ascot Dermatology is looking for a Registered Nurse or experienced Enrolled Nurse for a part-time role.

Ascot Dermatology is a boutique specialist practice that offers medical, surgical and cosmetic services. We believe in creating a calm and welcoming practice environment, while offering the most up-to-date evidence-based medicine.

The successful applicant will assist our dermatologists with minor surgical procedures, medical treatments (such as photodynamic therapy), allergy patch testing, injections for axillary hyperhidrosis, and cosmetic treatments including laser therapy, PRP, RF microneedling, cosmetic injectables, chemical peels, and LED light therapy.

Other duties include but are not limited to providing professional skincare advice to patients, providing pre and post treatment/procedure consultations and advice, follow-up care and responding to phone and email enquiries under the direction of the dermatologist, contributing to maintaining all clinical areas and cleanliness of the practice, sterilizing, managing stock levels and stock ordering.

To be considered for this position:

· You must have a current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.

· You must be able to work Fridays and at least one other day during the week. Saturday morning availability is highly desirable.

· You must have a current laser licence with QLD Radiation Health or be willing to undergo the necessary training to obtain a laser licence.

· You must have experience with antiwrinkle and dermal filler injectables or be willing to undergo the necessary training to be able to safely administer injectables.

· Previous experience in a dermatology practice will be very highly regarded.
