About the role

Drug Test Australia is seeking a skilled and dedicated Drug & Alcohol Testing Technician to join our team in Tomago, NSW. In this casual role, you will be responsible for conducting drug and alcohol testing for our industry clientele, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

What you'll be doing

Performing drug and alcohol screenings using established protocols and procedures

Collecting samples and maintaining proper chain of custody documentation

Analysing test results and generating accurate reports

Communicating test findings to clients in a professional and timely manner

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Adhering to all relevant safety and compliance regulations

Shift commencent ranges from 4.30am to 8.00am for a minium of 3 hours each shift,

1 - 2 shifts per week on average.

Providing excellent customer service to our industry clientele

Essential Criteria

Completed HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing or willingness to obtain.

Reliability

Desirable Criteria

Minimum 1 year of experience as a drug and alcohol testing technician or similar role

Demonstrated proficiency in operating testing equipment and following established protocols

Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with AS/NZS 4760 & AS/NZS 4308, ISO 17025 & ISO 9001 industry regulations and standards

A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

Flexibility around other work commitments
