About the role

Join the team of one of the oldest family owned flooring companies in Melbourne as a full-time Timber floor installer. This hands-on role is crucial in delivering high-quality flooring solutions to our residential and commercial customers. As an experienced floor installer, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient installation of parquetry, solid hardwood, laminate, and engineered timber floors.

What you'll be doing

Measuring, cutting, and installing a variety of timber flooring products

Preparing subfloors to ensure a level and secure foundation for the new flooring

Adhering to industry standards and best practices to deliver exceptional workmanship

Collaborating with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the customer's satisfaction

Maintaining a clean and organised worksite throughout the installation process

Providing excellent customer service and addressing any queries or concerns

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a timber floor installer, with a strong understanding of installation techniques and materials

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision

Strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise on the job

Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and the wider team

A keen eye for aesthetics to ensure a flawless finish

A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
