The Role

Council is seeking an experienced Civil Designer with demonstrated high level skills and knowledge in civil engineering design to join its Infrastructure Design team in Yeppoon. The successful candidate will investigate, prepare and critically review detailed designs, drawings and cost estimates for Council’s municipal infrastructure projects. The work will be interesting, broad and at times challenging.

Mandatory Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil) or Associate Degree of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification relevant to the duties of the position and substantial work experience relevant to the position;

Demonstrated experience in municipal infrastructure design, drafting, estimating and project documentation;

Possess or have the ability to acquire Construction Industry Induction (White Card); and

Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
