ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with a mechanical mindset and a strong work ethic. You’ll work side-by-side with experienced fitters and technicians, learning the ropes while contributing to world-class engineering solutions.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

Load and Unload Trucks.

Operation of workshop spray booth.

Kitting up of parts as they come in for key projects and issue to factory.

Liaise with Fitters to meet delivery targets.

Comply with all EH&S requirements.

Forklift operation.

Support the workshop with additional duties including but not limited to manual labour, cleaning, overhead crane operations, filing and stamping and general duties as needed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Experience in Mechanical service industry (ideal)

Spray Painting (highly desirable)

Strong attention to detail

Forklift / High Risk License (essential or willingness to obtain)

Overhead crane experience (ideal)

Excellent communication skills

Exemplary safety record

Experience in a fast-paced environment

Works well unsupervised within a small team environment

Ability to work Flexible hours as required with overtime

Meticulous attention to housekeeping
