Job Description
Kickstart Your Career in Alcohol & Other Drugs in this Traineeship Opportunity!
- Location: Narre Warren & Cranbourne on the lands of the Wurundjeri & Bunurong Peoples
- Hourly Rate: $33.56 p/h + 11.5% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550
- Full-time Hours: Monday to Friday

Your role, your impact
- Engage with clients and support their recovery goals
- Shadow experienced staff and participate in group facilitation
- Complete case notes, assessments, and referrals
- Participate in self-directed learning, workshops & supervision
Support community engagement and program evaluation

Who we’re looking for
- Passion for working in the AOD sector
- Strong interpersonal skills and a non-judgmental approach
- Willingness to learn and seek feedback for growth
- Ability to work in a team and handle ethical challenges
You must have:
- Enrolled in either a Certificate 4 or Diploma in Alcohol & Other Drugs (AOD) or a dual diagnosis qualification or AOD skill set (4 units)
- Victorian Driver’s License
- Competency in Microsoft Office & strong admin skills
