GIS Consultant – QGIS

$75,000 - $100,000 + Super

Junior GIS Officer with anywhere from 1-4 years experience, someone wanting to build their GIS skills, learn and develop in this environment.

Ecology & Environmental Planning Consultancy going from strength to strength in Fortitude Valley. Servicing Renewable Energy Developers, Property Developers and Industry at the State & Federal level.

Office of 30 staff and growing in Brisbane with a second office on the Sunshine Coast.

We need someone to:

Project Delivery working with the growing team

Ecology projects for Renewables and Industrial / Residential Development (50/50 split)

Sitting in a QGIS environment, working with the GIS Team Leader to deliver mapping, data automation, applications on meaningful projects

The Ecological Offsets market is a big area for them, and part of your role providing site selection options via QGIS applications

This is a Quantum GIS role. This experience is required.

The exciting part about this role is helping to build solutions for existing clients, with a particular focus on the Ecological Offset Sites market. Essentially, new developments need to offset their ecological impacts and identifying these sites requires a tonne of geospatially driven criteria.

Requirements:

1-4 years experience

QGIS experience

Python experience useful

Offices in Brisbane and Sunshine Coast and open to either location.

Power BI advantageous
