We are on the lookout for a reliable and proactive Handyperson to join our team at the Lion Hotel, playing a key role in the continued success of our award-winning venue. Someone who is a detail-oriented individual, that can manage multiple tasks with efficiency and precision!

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for performing a range of maintenance and housekeeping tasks, helping to keep our hotel running smoothly and looking it’s best.

Key tasks include:

Assist with opening of hotel each morning e.g. filling of ice wells, set up of external tables and chairs;

Complete minor repairs to building facilities and equipment effectively;

Carry out maintenance tasks promptly and within allocated schedules;

Respond efficiently to maintenance requests from hotel management;

Assist with general housekeeping and gardening duties as required; and

Operate a variety of tools and equipment to complete tasks.

About you:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in a Maintenance or Handyperson role.

Effective communication, organisational and time management skills.

A sound understanding of safe work practices.

Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

Flexibility to work across 7 days.
