Drill Doctors / Drill Adams are the largest independent supplier of aftermarket parts and consumables for blast hole drill rigs in NSW, backed by the largest Drill Field service team in NSW. We cover all OEM brands with a wide range of stock on hand along with a 24/7 call out service. We provide full drill rig re-builds, overhauls, component repairs, on-site fitters, tech support and internal manufacturing capabilities.

The Role:

Due to increased growth and demand for our services and products, we are seeking a capable and experienced Plant Mechanic to join our existing Field Service team.

This role involves working directly with our customers to service and repair blast hole drill rigs. We have multiple locations on offer with varying rosters. The type of work ranges from reliability improvements, defect repairs, general servicing, major drill rig overhauls, component change outs and troubleshooting.

To be Successful for this position you will need to demonstrate the following Skills:

· Plant Mechanic trade background

· NSW Drivers license

· Minimum 5 years’ experience working on rotary blast drills, including but not limited to Sandvik/Drilltech, Bucyrus, Terex/Reedrill, Caterpillar.

· A strong background with reading and understanding hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic schematics

· Strong adherence to Safety practices

· Excellent inter-personal skills, specifically when working with the Customer

· Self-driven to exceed customers’ targets and expectations.

The following tickets/experience is highly regarded for this position:

· SAP Experience Desired

· Dogman

· MDG25

· Working at Heights

· Order 43 medical completed in the last 12 months

· Permanent full-time, Black coal agreement. Sub-contractors welcome to apply.

· Service vehicle and fuel card will be supplied for permanent employees

· Attractive hourly rate $61.50-$85, Subcontractors $100-$115 per hour

· ENTITLEMENTS PAID AS IF AT WORK, NO REDUCED RATES FOR LEAVE

· Paid long service leave for permanent employees

· Paid Ongoing training provided for permanent employees
