About the role

This full-time Solar Sales position at Shaw Electrix Pty Ltd in Canberra, ACT offers an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team. As a Solar Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for promoting and selling our industry-leading solar power solutions to residential and commercial customers in the local area.

What you'll be doing

Identifying and qualifying sales leads through various prospecting methods

Scheduling and conducting in-person meetings with potential customers to discuss their solar energy needs

Providing expert advice and customised solutions to help customers select the best solar products and services for their requirements

Preparing detailed proposals, quotes and contracts to support the sales process

Closing sales and ensuring a smooth transition to the installation team

Maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and generating repeat business

Staying up-to-date with the latest solar technology, industry trends and competitor offerings

What we're looking for

Proven sales experience in the solar or renewable energy industry

Strong solutions selling ability to potential clients

Strong technical knowledge of solar power systems and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers

A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to promoting sustainability

Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems

A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel within the local area
