With over 20 years of trusted service across Southeast Queensland, we’re proud to be the leading provider of water trucks and specialist plant hire from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast.
We’re now seeking a driven Area Manager to join our team and ride the wave of growth sweeping through the region. This is your opportunity to be part of a dynamic business during one of the most exciting infrastructure booms in Queensland’s history.
As a part of this position, you will work with our Sales Operations Manager to target major civil, construction, local councils, contractors, utilities, and landscape customers throughout the Sunshine Coast and Northern Brisbane. You will need to communicate with key contractors and site managers, as well as help existing clients by understanding their needs and offering solutions to support each project, both present and future.
Based out of our Moffat Beach depot, you will be required to:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with a focus on building strong relationships with clients
Utilise your comprehensive understanding of the civil construction and landscaping industry to promote our services and capabilities effectively
Manage the daily operations of the Moffat Beach depot
Exercise clear communication with the Scheduling Team to ensure seamless delivery between sales and operations
Manage and nurture client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions that meet each client's needs
Stay up to date with industry trends and market demands to remain competitive
Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar sales role, preferably in the civil, construction or landscaping industry
Ability to work autonomously
Proven success in consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client partnerships
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Reasonable experience using the Microsoft 365 suite of programs
Entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to seek out new opportunities
