Trainee Miller - Manildra Flour Mills - Manildra NSW

With training provided both on the job and through a recognised qualification, you will be paid to learn and have the opportunity to establish a career with one of Australia's major food manufacturers

THE JOB:

Learn to monitor, operate and maintain milling equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality in compliance with established standards.

Collaborate with team members to achieve production and continuous improvement goals.

Undertake hygiene tasks to ensure the highest standard of food safety are maintained

Assist with regular testing of wheat and flour to meet company and customer quality standards.

Follow all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures. Identify and report safety issues within the mill and the broader workplace to maintain a safe working environment.

Accurately complete and maintain all required documentation

The position will involve shift work on a rotating roster and provides overtime opportunities

ABOUT YOU:

Curious nature and willingness to learn

Possess a HRW - forklift licence or ability to obtain prior to commencement

Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy

Well developed communication skills

Possess strong numeracy and English literacy skills

Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

Able to work effectively independently and within a team

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and skills to pick up and learn new computer programs quickly
