Clinical Manager – 6-Month Contract

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious specialist dental practice located in leafy Deakin. Our client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Manager to join their friendly and high-performing team for a 6-month maternity leave contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the clinical area, working closely with clinicians, patients, and the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

Chairside assisting during clinical procedures, including the use of an operating microscope

Sterilisation of instruments and adherence to strict infection control protocols

Monitoring patient vital signs and administering oral anxiolytics under clinical direction

Digital radiography and maintenance of electronic patient records

Pre- and post-operative patient care, including education and discharge

Occasional reception support, including appointment scheduling and invoicing

Oversight of clinical operations including equipment maintenance and stock control

Liaising with the principal dentist on infection control compliance and accreditation processes

About You

Proven experience in a senior dental assisting or clinical management role

Strong leadership and mentoring skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organised, with strong attention to detail

A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude

Committed to ongoing learning and professional development

Able to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
