About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Allied Health team as a Occupational Therapist , where you will be responsible for:

• Developing, coordinating, and implementing high-quality occupational therapy services
• Providing therapy to children with developmental, medical, surgical, orthopaedic, and chronic conditions
• Supporting families in managing their child's care needs
• Delivering services across various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and outreach locations
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Monitoring and evaluating therapy plans to ensure effectiveness and relevance
• Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to clinical governance standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification, which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate effective time management
• Experience with the provision and promotion of high quality, efficient and effective Occupational Therapy services
• Experience with assessment, treatment and providing advice in the area of infant development, occupational performance in pre-school and school age children including sensory processing, orthopaedic upper limb and chronic conditions
