About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Allied Health team as a Occupational Therapist , where you will be responsible for:
- Developing, coordinating, and implementing high-quality occupational therapy services
- Providing therapy to children with developmental, medical, surgical, orthopaedic, and chronic conditions
- Supporting families in managing their child's care needs
- Delivering services across various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and outreach locations
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Monitoring and evaluating therapy plans to ensure effectiveness and relevance
- Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to clinical governance standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification, which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate effective time management
- Experience with the provision and promotion of high quality, efficient and effective Occupational Therapy services
- Experience with assessment, treatment and providing advice in the area of infant development, occupational performance in pre-school and school age children including sensory processing, orthopaedic upper limb and chronic conditions
