We’re looking for passionate Sales Assistants with Administration Skills to join our growing team at Chilton’s Antiques in Miranda. This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful boutique setting, surrounded by fine antique jewellery, vintage treasures, and beautiful craftsmanship.

Ideal candidates will have:

– A warm and professional approach to customer service
– Strong administrative and organisational skills
– Previous experience in jewellery or high-end retail (preferred)
– A keen eye for detail and genuine interest in jewellery, antiques and design

Job Description

As a Sales Assistant at Chilton’s Antiques, you'll play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day running of our boutique in Miranda. Your responsibilities will include:

Retail Sales & Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with warmth and professionalism, helping them find unique antique jewellery and collectables while providing informed advice and excellent service.

Point of Sale & Transactions: Confidently process in-store purchases, returns, and lay-bys using our point-of-sale system, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.

Online Sales Support: Manage and process online orders, including preparing and packaging items for dispatch, updating stock availability, and responding to online enquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Customer Enquiries: Answer phone calls, emails, and messages with clarity and care, providing detailed product knowledge and assistance across all channels.

Boutique Presentation: Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store, including regular dusting and cleaning of display cases, counters, and jewellery.

Stock Management: Assist with the unpacking and setup of new items, restocking cabinets and displays, and carefully packing away stock at the end of day.

Visual Merchandising: Help style and refresh displays to reflect seasonal themes, sales events, and new arrivals, keeping the boutique looking elegant and inviting.

You’ll work closely with a small, supportive team in a creative and fast-paced environment. Experience with jewellery, antiques, or high-end retail is preferred, but a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a love of beautiful things are just as important.
