About the role:
Newcastle Steel Distributors has been a supplier of steel products in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and greater Hunter Valley regions for over 20 years. An opportunity has arisen for a reliable and energetic person to join our north side operation as a Certificate III in Supply Chain operations trainee.

Main duties you will learn:

Pick and pack steel products for timely customer deliveries

Warehouse organisation and stock rotation/allocation

Assist with safe handling, storage, and shipping of steel materials

Learn end-to-end steel supply chain processes

Opportunity to work within internal Sales

Support smooth operations across warehouse and logistics teams

Work across other departments to get a better understanding of the overall business

Loading/unloading trucks

This Traineeship is located in at our Boolaroo workshop, working Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm with an early finish on Fridays!
